There’s a reason people call New Haven the Pizza Capital of the World — or as we locals say, the Pizza Mecca.
It’s not a myth. It’s not hype. It’s just fact.
So we figured — if we’re already living in the promised land of ah-beetz, why not build a brand that celebrates it?
🍕 The Concept
Pizza Mecca is the brand-new brainchild of FAT ENZO, created by yours truly (Bobby Pickles) and my cousin-slash-business-partner, Morgs.
Together, we’re paying homage to the legendary pizzerias that make New Haven-style pizza a religion.
Each month, we’ll highlight one pizzeria that embodies the Pizza Mecca spirit — those who still sling pies the old-school way, with fire, flavor, and authenticity.
The chosen shop will get their own exclusive Pizza Mecca x FAT ENZO shirt drop:
- Front:Â The official Pizza Mecca logo (two divine slices forming a holy heart).
- Back: A one-of-a-kind FAT ENZO–style design inspired by that month’s featured pizzeria.
🔥 Limited Edition Drops
Every drop will be printed on premium quality apparel — soft, durable, and built to survive sauce stains and beer spills alike.
We’ll gift each featured pizzeria their first batch of tees.
If they want to keep the good vibes going (and make a few extra bucks slinging merch), we’ll offer wholesale pricing for restocks and resale in their shops.
Each month, another legendary spot will step up to earn its place in the Pizza Mecca pantheon — and you’ll want to be there for every drop.
👕 The First Drop: “Nightmare in Elm City”
Just in time for Halloween, we kicked things off with a horror-themed collab — Nightmare in Elm City.
Featuring a familiar face from your nightmares (with a cheesy twist), this tee celebrates both New Haven’s pizza heritage and our home turf, Elm City itself.
